

Carol A. Kartagener is Board Certified in the area of marital and family law. In addition, Carol is also a skilled litigator and engages in the practice of commercial and general civil litigation. She has been selected for inclusion by Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Carol commenced her legal career with a prestigious judicial clerkship with The Honorable Norman C. Roettger, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She was also appointed and served as a Special Master and a Guardian in Broward County, Florida. In 1993, Carol reportedly had the largest verdict of any commercial case in Broward County, in an amount in excess of $11 million dollars, which included a $7 million punitive damage award. Carol is admitted to the Florida Bar as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Carol is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Family Law Section of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Carol received her Bachelor of Arts, awarded magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1976 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami in 1984.
