

William J. Cornwell is a skilled senior trial attorney with 20 years experience handling complex civil matters on behalf of a broad range of clients including individuals, condominium associations, partnerships, and major corporations. Mr. Cornwell has obtained in excess of $100 million in verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients involved in a broad array of disputes. Recent jury verdicts include one for in excess of $10 million against Volkswagen in a product liability action and another for in excess of $4 million in a construction defect case against a condominium developer. Mr. Cornwell's trial oriented practice encompasses the handling of matters of behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants with the common denominator being the client's need for a skilled and seasoned advocate in the courtroom. Areas of practice include class action litigation, construction defect disputes, commercial litigation, employment disputes, product liability and other tort litigation. Mr. Cornwell is admitted to the Florida and Georgia State bars, as well as the United States Supreme Court, the United States Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Bill received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1982 and a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 1985.
